Unfortunately we had to retire the car with a bit more than 1 hour to go after a contact with another car which caused damage we were unable to fix. 💔

Despite the retirement we had a great weekend and a lot of positives to take. Pole position, another win in the Pro-Am class and a lot of time spent in the lead are just the signs that we are improving with every weekend.

Now time for analyse, recharge and we go again in 2 weeks! 🙌🏻

And that's a wrap to our 4th consecutive race weekend!🥵

A weekend in Paul Ricard where all 4 drivers kept on showing great improvement session after session, but we all still have a lot to learn! There were some nice overtakes and great pit stop strategy today in race 2 and we are taking home P11 in the Pro-Am class for @axcil & @omarjacksondxb and another P8 for Jacob Schell and Stefan Aust in the AM class.

Now it’s time for the crew to get back home and have some well deserved break after 4 long race weekends!

Finishing the weekend in Misano with a good feeling. ☺️

A promising start of the weekend saw the #18 @teamspiritracing Vantage GT4 with Markus Lungstrass and Lorenz Stegmann finishing in P3 (Pro-Am) at the end of Race 1, which meant back to back podium finishes after the race win in Spa 2 weeks ago. At the beginning of race 2, Markus did a great start before dropping down and getting a pit stop penalty. Lorenz brought the car in P7 (Pro-Am) after all. The pace is there and the duo proved it!

Jessica & Andreas Bäckman, in the #19 Aston, struggled at the beginning of the weekend with finding the right set up which caused them to end up in P21 (Silver) at the end of race 1. The team worked hard with them and all the data was analysed before race 2. The car felt better and Jessica did some nice overtakes to end in P18 in the Silver category.

Overall, a tricky weekend for both driver pairs and the whole team, battling with the hot temperatures and the strong competition.

Now, a month and a half break before we are back for the next round of the GT4 European Series in September at the famous Hockenheimring!
