Successful weekend at round 3 of the @gt4europeanseries in Spa! ✅
After just missing out the podium in P4 on Friday during race 1, Markus Lungstrass and Lorenz Stegmann stepped on the top step of the podium in the Pro-Am class in race 2 on Saturday as the weather played huge role throughout the whole weekend. With heavy rain at the start of the race Markus did a great stint and Lorenz managed to set the fastest lap of the race overall after taking over the Vantage GT4.
The Bäckman siblings keep on showing massive improvement with every session. Andreas managed to put the #19 Aston on P3 in the silver category on Thursday during FP2. Race 1 didn’t go through without the safety car coming out and that mixed the field quite a lot. The chequered flag saw the siblings crossing the finish line in P24 in race 1 and P20 in the wet race 2.
We would like to congratulate the whole racing one crew for the great job they did in this difficult weekend. The hard work has finally paid off! 💪🏻

After the two practice sessions on Thursday that showed great results for all three cars, today is time for the two qualifying sessions and race 1.
Unfortunately after a late crash in the second free practice, we had no other choice but to retire car #9 with Todd Pariott and Andy Lee @gmgracing. It’s a shame, because they were showing awesome pace on their first running in Spa.

The three week racing marathon for us has officially ended. ✅
And was it intense.. from 24h of Nürburgring to Spa for round 2 of the @gtopen.official series and then directly south to Paul Ricard for @gt4europeanseries with @teamspiritracing and our new driver pairing @jessbackman & @andreasbckman.
It wasn’t the best weekend we had, but the pace is there and it is promising. @markus_lungstrass & @lorenz.stegmann finished just off the podium in the Pro-Am cup in race 2, while the Backman siblings suffered an accident in the opening lap of race 1 and we were unable to fix the car and bring it back on track for race 2. Despite all our efforts, this is motorsport! We will be back in Spa stronger in 3 weeks for the next round of GT4 European series, but before that we have a few days to organise, analyse and prepare for the next round of GT Open, which will take place in Hungaroring, Budapest in just under 2 weeks from now!

Stefan Aust and Jacob Schell are back in their 488 GT3 Evo, but the big news are that Axcil Jefferies will be teaming up with Omar Jackson in the 296 GT3 for the remaining of the GT Open season!

The 51. TotalEnergies 24h of Nürburgring is officially in the books! ✅
And what a race weekend it was!! From sunrise to sunset, we pushed our limits at the Nordschleife. An unforgettable journey of speed, determination and teamwork. We crossed the finish line with pride and exhaustion in P15 overall and P4 in the SP9 Pro-Am class after 24 hours of non stop racing action!
Big THANK YOU to all the fans for their continuous support through the weekend and the whole racing one crew for their work! And last but not least, THANK YOU to the 4 drivers that made it happen! Luca Ludwig, Christian Kohlhaas, Stefan Aust & Johannes Stengel!
