Very challenging first 8 hours of the @gulf12hours saw us finishing part 1 of the race in P16. Starting from the back we made our way through the field in the beginning of the race, but a brake issue made us go back to the pits, losing a few laps to the lead and we had to make our way through once again, closing the huge gaps, that extra pit stop costed us. The drivers made very strong stints and we are back in the middle of the pack again.

Part II of the race starts at 16:00 CET 🇩🇪 / 19:00 local time 🇦🇪

Still 4 long hours of racing to go, keep your fingers crossed for us! 🍀

A difficult end to an awesome day for us. The car was feeling great and we were having a very strong pace until we suffered a mechanical failure in Q3 after running over debris from a competitor car, which completely destroyed the front suspension of our 296 GT3.

Luckily the damage is repairable and our mechanics are already working very hard to bring the car to the grid tomorrow morning.

We received permission to start in the Gulf 12h race tomorrow, but since we were unable to record lap times in Q1 and Q2, we received a 10 place grid penalty.

Heads down, full concentration and we keep on working hard. Anything can happen in 12 hours of racing.
